The village of East Ferry is nestled along the River Trent in between Scunthorpe and Gainsborough and is approx 8 miles in distance to each. It lies six miles west of Scotter and is situated on the north west boundary of West Lindsey District Council.
It is surrounded by farm land, with Laughton forest to the East and the banks of the River Trent to the West. The village consists of approximately 50 dwellings, with others located further afield.
Despite being small in size, our village is big in community spirit and we are very lucky to have a wide variety of age groups residing here. We hold annual Xmas Parties for residents and organise get togethers on our ever improving village green.
